Put that in your book

While I was writing the last post Skye farted and said "Put that in your book." It's her new thing lately. It's from the movie Dances With Wolves. I said it to her once when I farted so now every time she farts even if it's silent one she will say "Put that in your book." She is such a funny little twink. What would I do without my Skye Bones.

Jordyn holding baby Cole

I forgot this post. The day after Christmas we went over to visit with Toph and Brittany before they headed back home. I was on the couch holding Cole and Jordyn came walking up and put her little cheek on his head and said AH-AHH-AHHH. Then she gave him a little pat-pat and laid her cheek back on his head. So I picked her up onto the couch to have her hold him. It was so cute. She kept kissing his head. I was surprised at how much she loved holding him. She never holds still long enough for anything. If I took him away she would start crying. She was so gentle with him aside from a couple of pat-pats on the nose. She loves baby dolls so I don't know why it was such a surprise to me that she would love the real thing. It's too bad they live so far away. I wish that they lived in Logan. I love hanging out with Brittany and Skye loves Halle Bug. Good thing we will have another baby cousin for Jordyn to hold shortly. Oh and Britt...I might need to take Cole to Hawaii with us.  He would make her hold still on the plane.

Temple Square

Sheri and I went down to Temple Square to take the kids to see the lights and their dad's on Tuesday. Regan and Ryan have been working down there for the last 6 weeks. They were staying down there during the week and coming home on weekends. It has been really hard not having him around at nights. I dare blog about it now that they are done and strangers wouldn't know that I was home alone. I'm a little paranoid. All I can say is that I never want to be a single mother. I think the kids were more excited about seeing their dad's than anything. It was so funny though. When we were trying to find a place to park, Skye spotted the Temple and yelled "Is that Disneyland." Me and Sheri were cracking up. It was beautiful I could be down there all night taking pictures if there weren't so many freakin' people. These pics are definitely not my best work. I hate how the Temple is distorted in a couple of the pics but with that many people, some things gotta give. It was either the Temple with a slight distortion or someone walking through the picture. It was also hard to take any pictures because Jordyn wanted me to hold her and she must be trying get back at her daddy for not being around because she would scream while he was holding her but then he would hand her to Ryan and she was fine. My girls have a thing for Big Ry. After walking around for a bit we walked over to the Olive Garden. On the way back to the car we got a couple more pictures and then headed home.

I love these 3

I LOVE this one

I thought it was priceless that they went and knelt at his feet

Jordyn wasn't a very happy camper until she got to run around a little

I forgot that the camera was in manual mode when I handed it off to Regan. I do that a lot. So Jordyn isn't exposed very good

I think she has missed  her daddy

Jordyn loves pasta!! She must get that from her dad because I'm not a big fan

Christmas Day

Skye thought it was so cool that Santa ate the gingerbread cookies and drank the milk

The tickets to Hawaii that Santa brought for all of us

So excited about her "Pooping Dog." It really does poop out a toy biscuit

I love Jordyn's expression in this picture. She has a WOW face
Helping her sister open up her presents
Jordyn's favorite part about Christmas was definitely the candy canes
This picture is a blurry mess but I love the face that she is pulling. It's the face she gives me when she is raisin' cane
She finally put down the candy canes long enough to check out her presents that her sister opened for her. I thought she would love ripping off the paper but she could have cared less about opening them.

Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve we go to my parents house for dinner. After dinner the adults and kids exchange gifts. This year Regan got one. For the last 2 years I have got 2 presents and Regan was forgotten. We don't do it in couples because the grand kids were odd numbers so we had Teisha as an adult. This year he got one and loved what Teisha gave him. She gave him 2 really nice shirts. Jen had me and I was stoked because when she gives me a present it is usually clothes...I need some new clothes BAD!!! She didn't let me down. She gave me a way cute vest. One of Jen's kids... I'm not sure which one, had Skye. She got a doll house and was so excited about it. Her and Jordyn love to fight over the dolls. Halle gave Jordyn a cute little turtle toy and a book about colors. She too loves her toy and actually plays with it for a couple of minutes a day giving me some relief. After we opened up gifts we went home to get in bed so Santa could come. I was shocked at how easy Skye went to sleep.
My Christmas gift that I got early was a Bloggie Touch video recorder. I love how it's small(like a phone) makes it so much easier to take places but is supposedly has a 12mega pixel camera. It must be a typo because it's more like a 2mp one. Oh well, it's better than nothin'

My favorite pics of Cole's photo shoot...So far

I want to put a cute saying off to the right of this one but I can't think of any. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to here them.
