The Mickey Book

This Mickey book has made me laugh twice today. We were at Shopko and I could not get Jordyn to leave. She was on a mission to find something. We ended up in the book isle and right away she found what she was looking for. She grabbed the book by its handle and walked off saying, "Ok, come on, go". So I of coarse couldn't resist getting it for her. Then once we got home from running our errands I put Jordyn in her crib with her book. I went back in after she had fallen asleep to move it out of the way, so that it wouldn't wake her up if she rolled on it. I found this...

I thought it was so cute how she had it all propped up on her blankets and she was on her belly reading it.

Seven Peaks

Last Saturday we went down to Seven Peaks with Matt and Jen. Chad came too and brought the 3 younger kids and we met Toph and Brittany down there. Since Regan was working my mom came to help me out with the kids. Skye loved it!! I wish Regan could have gone so that he could have taken her down some of the big slides. I know she would have loved going down them. Luckily they had some smaller slides and a kiddie pool that she really enjoyed. Jordyn loved it but after a half hour in the water she would start freezing. Poor thing, she doesn't have any body fat to keep her warm. She loved the wave pool and I was so shocked when she followed Skye down a little slide that had water pouring on the kids in the kiddie pool. I don't know why they do that with slides. I have never seen a kid that loves water dumped on them when they are trying to go down a slide. It was fun to spend the day with all of my brothers and their families. Too bad Regan couldn't have been there with us.

4th of July weekend up at the cabin

We spent the 4th up at the cabin with Regan's brothers. Rusty, Holly, Rylee, Ryan, Sheri, their kids and of coarse Jon. Kate, Sheri's sister-in-law came too. We swam, ate a lot of dutch oven and hung out around the cabin. Ryan brought their 4wheeler, hoping to get it running but no such luck. Not even getting towed by the golf cart helped. It did make for some good laughs though.
