Trick or Treating

Tonight we went trick or treating with Ryan and Sheri's family. It was Jordyn's first time. She was a little hesitant with taking candy from strangers. She would just sit and look at the bowl of candy. Skye on the other hand was a pro. Her, Abbi and Tyler ran to every house. Jordyn wore Skye's old giraffe costume. I loved it just as much on her as I did on Skye. And of coarse it started raining right before we went out.

Ryan carried this umbrella the whole time. He stayed dry though

Once we got home after visiting my mom and dad, Grandma and Grandpa "P" the girls got into their skeleton pj's.

I'm In Trouble!!!

Today I was trying to kill time before picking Skye up from preschool. So I went into Kmart. I seen some cute black dress shoes for Jordyn. She doesn't have any and the holidays are coming up. You always need black shoes for holiday outfits. I was trying them on and when I took them off and threw them in the cart, Jordyn flipped. I thought she just wanted to play with them so I gave them to her and started putting on her other shoes. She got even more pissed. So I put the dress shoe back on her foot and she stopped crying immediately. I must have passed on my shoe fetish to her. If she already knows what shoes she wants to wear, I'm in big trouble.

Uh Oh, Spaghettios

Tonight Jordyn had Spaghettios for the 1st time. I was trying to feed them to her at first but she wasn't having any of that. So I let miss independent feed herself. I thought she'll make a mess but if it gets her to eat then oh well. I had no idea what kind of mess was in store...

Preschool Halloween Party

Skye decided she wanted to be Foofa from Yo Gabba Gabba this year. When we went to the Halloween store she immediately saw it and wanted it. I tried so hard to talk her into a cuter costume but then thought, It's her costume she can be whatever she wants. I think she actually looks pretty dang cute in it. So today it was dress up day at preschool. She was so excited to wear "My Poofa" as she calls it to school.

A FUN Photo Shoot w/ The Little Darlings

On Friday Heather and I took our niece Kennedi's birthday pictures. It was so much fun. We were laughing and having a blast. Then towards the end we decided to put Jordyn in a couple with her, since Jordyn just had her birthday. They are priceless!! I love em!!!

These next 2 pics looks like they are talking to each other. It looks like Jordyn is telling Kennedi that she has frosting on her foot. Then Kennedi saying oh I do as she looks at her foot. I love it!

Jordyn looks like she has fangs in these 2 pictures. Every time I look at them I laugh

Jordyn trying to feed Kennedi. She didn't quite get her mouth

Dedicated Hunters!!!

I don't know how they consider this fun but even with the weather the way it was, Regan still loved it. Ryan shot another big buck before the weather got nasty and then it rain and snowed the rest of the time. Poor Marlin got completely soaked coming around the mountain to their camp and his clothes were ice in the morning.

Having Fun w/The Stang

I was doing Jen's hair today and seen this go past my window. This toy is a huge hit with kids that come over to play. There is usually fighting that goes on. Everyone wants to be the driver, but not today. They found a way to play nice. I thought it was hilarious.

My Tiny Little Jordyn

Today was Jordyn's 1 year Dr. visit. I have been stressing about her weight, hoping that she would still be on the charts. She is!!! Weighing in at a whopping 17lbs even, makes her still 2%. Yay Jordyn!!!! Her head is 38% and her length is 58%. So even though she is extremely skinny and has a smaller head, she is healthy as can be. She did get 3 shots, which of coarse is going to make me lose sleep worrying for the next couple of nights that she is going to get diabetes or worse, autism. Oh and I was joking with the Dr. saying that she will be rear facing until she is 5 and he told me, that they do recommend you keeping them rear facing until 2 now, instead of 1. Huh, good thing she has Skye to entertain her. I guess it will be a long while before she can see where she is going.

First Word

A couple of weeks ago we went and ate at Firehouse. After we were done eating and waiting for the check, I was letting Jordyn drink some of Skye's root beer. She was sipping on it and looking at Regan out of the corner of her eye. Out of nowhere she said yummy. It sounded so clear and perfect, that all 3 of us started laughing. I wasn't sure if it was a fluke or if she really meant to say it. Then a couple of days later, when she would see a sippy cup or some food that she wanted she would say nummy, nummy, nummy and has been saying that ever since. So Jordyn's 1st real word besides mama dada and Skye, was yummy. I thought I better hurry and write that down because I was trying to remember what Skye's 1st word was and can't remember it for the life of me. You always think that you will never forget something. Dangit!

Great Weekend!!!

We had quite the eventful but fun weekend. First we got our grass on Friday. Thanks to My 2 brothers,my mom and mother-in-law, we were able to get it all laid down that day and still were able to go to dinner.
Our house with grass. YAY!!!
The next morning we went and took Halle's pictures and we got some cute ones of Britt's belly too. She is going to kill me for posting a couple but I think she looks beautiful in them. (Don't worry Britt, I didn't put any of the naked belly ones)
My ADORABLE niece Halle

We didn't have a good profile ultrasound pic so we used the one of his cute little feet.

Then Saturday night, we had a girls night out...Guy style and went down to the ReAL game. It was so much fun. I'm going to have to go down to them more often.

Then to top it off, we had stake conference on Sunday.
