Fall Pictures 2010

Today Jordyn looked so cute in the outfit that I dressed her in. I just had to take pictures of her in it. The sky was overcast which is perfect for pictures and the leaves in the mountains have started to change. So we headed up the canyon until we found some trees that had changed. I got a TON of cute pictures of Jordyn but Skye was in no mood for pictures so I only got a couple of her.

My mom's friend Arleen, gave this hat and jacket to Jordyn when she was born. I have been dying for her to be able to wear them.

Love how her shoes are sitting off to the side? They will not stay on her tiny feet for anything

The only decent one of them together. One of these days I might luck out and get a good one of both of them looking at the camera and smiling.

Dodge Barrage 2010

On Saturday Regan, his brothers and a bunch of guys that he works with were able to go down and play dodge ball for the Dodge Barrage Charity Dodgeball Tournament with the Utah Jazz. We were a little bummed because we were under the impression that they were actually going to play the Jazz players, but only the top teams played them. They had a good time regardless and every couple of hours the Jazz players would come out and sign stuff... Which was neat!

This picture cracks me up. I don't know what Rory is doing but it makes me laugh every time.

My man out there keeping the team alive

Rusty looks like he's trying to kill someone. The Hoth boys are a little competitive
Regan did catch the ball here. How could he not with that stance?!?

Skye's Work of Art

Last night Skye was coloring after we made her come in from playing with the neighbor boy. I wasn't really paying much attention to what she was doing. I did see her over playing with the magnet board but didn't look to see what she was up to. She is always rearranging the pictures on it so I figured, that was what she was doing. This morning I noticed that she had put one of the pictures that she colored on there. She must have been so proud of herself. By the looks of how many magnets she has on it, she didn't want it to go anywhere. I love the simple things like this. This is the kind of stuff that makes you sit back and think... I love where I am in life.

Cherry Hill

Saturday I took Skye down to Cherry Hill for a little get away together. We met Matt, Jen, Toph, Brittany and a couple of other families. We played at the water park all day. Then after we went out to dinner, we went back and played miniature golf. Skye loved miniature golfing. I think that was her favorite part. Well that and the lazy river. That's all she has been talking about. We camped over, if you can call sleeping in your car as camping. It was actually really comfortable and warm. It was a fun weekend. I wish Jordyn and Regan could have been there. Yes he is still in the Wind Rivers

Skye didn't want me to take her down the dragon slide. She wanted Matt's friend Nate to take her. She has never met him before. I guess she just thought he looked nice. I don't know what it is with her and men. I thought it was hilarious.

Such a Daddy's Girl

Regan went to the Wind Rivers. He has been gone for a couple of days and won't be home for a couple more. Skye has been going crazy without him. She misses him so much. This morning when she woke up, she came and climbed in bed with me. Like always she said she wanted her daddy. I told her that he would be home not tomorrow but the next day. Then she said to me,"But I can't live without my daddy." How cute is that?!?! I guess I'm not doing a good enough job at filling his shoes while he is gone. They are pretty big shoes when it comes to Skye. She LOVES her daddy.

Jordyn Is Starting To Walk

Last night Jordyn took off and walked 4 feet all on her own. I was sitting in the black rocking chair and Jordyn was playing on the floor. She pulled herself up on the panda bear and took off walking towards me. She could have gone further but when I started clapping and cheering, she sat down. She is going to be walking soon. It's going to be so fun seeing her walk around. She is so little it's going to look funny. It's exciting and sad at the same time.

Lovin' Nanny

My mom came home from North Carolina yesterday morning. On her way home she stopped by the house to see the girls. She was spending time talking to skye and hugging her while Jordyn was sleeping. When Jordyn woke up she was playing with her on her lap. Skye started getting a little jealous an said "Hey I want to fit in there".

Skye's 1st Day of Preschool

My little lady officially started preschool today. She was so excited. All week she has been asking me when do I get to go. Then...

On the way there, she got really nervous. I kept looking in the mirror and seeing her cute but sad little nervous face and had to get a picture of it. So I pulled over and whipped out my phone.
Regan called when I was pulling in and said he wanted to come and see her go into preschool. She was so excited!!! She loves her Daddy so much!!! I think it made her feel pretty important that both of us were there to walk her in. She brightened right up.

It tugged at my heart strings to see her walk through those doors. I can't believe she is old enough for school.

How Is She 11 Months

Aah my baby turned 11 months today. I guess it's time to start planning her 1st birthday. I can't believe that I only have a month before she's one. Where did this year go!?!? It went way too fast!!!! One more month, that's it.

As you can see by Jordyn's leggings, the porch was filthy.

We also went to the Founders Day Parade in Wellsville today. Then went and crashed the Maughan party. Good Times!!
