Tony Grove

We went camping with Regan's family(Marlin, Lyn, Ryan, Sheri and their kids) to Tony Grove this weekend. Rory's and Rusty's family was there for a little while but didn't spend the night. Marlin had the old(very old) trailer there for us to sleep in. I actually didn't mind it. It beats the heck out of a tent. It could definitely use some TLC though. Skye was totally in her element. She loved every minute of it. Especially playing in the dirt/horse poop. Regan was so excited to take Skye fishing. He has been wanting to do it for so long but could never find the time. I don't think she enjoyed it as much as playing in the dirt but anytime with dad is a bonus for her. She adores her daddy!! We had a great time!

A Fun Day @ The Lake

We went to Bear Lake yesterday with Jen and her kids. It was so much fun! Both of my girls absolutely loved it. There was supposed to be a bunch of us but it ended up just being us. We had a blast and I had a bad mom moment. It seems like I always do when I venture out with my kids. Bad mom moment--- I put Jordyn in the stroller she was fussing. I clipped her binki onto her swimsuit and gave it to her. She then SCREAMED!! I thought she was just pissed about being in her stroller. She stopped crying after a few minutes so I didn' think anything of it. After a good half hour to 45min we decided to pack up. I went to get Jordyn undressed and ripped of her binki. She SCREAMED again! I took off her shirt and seen that I had clipped the binki onto her skin. It almost looked like it was pierced. I felt so bad I wanted to cry. Poor girl!! That's when you wish they could say, "hey mom ya dumb crap, that's my skin." Other than that little miss hap, it was a great day.

We had a couple of 1st today.

I finally cut Jordyn's long wispy hairs in the back of her head. I was getting sick of the Cutie doll look. I'm bummed that I didn't take a before picture. I didn't even think about it until it was too late. So I used the one from the other day at Lagoon. I think she looks much better.

A Fun Day @ Lagoon

Yesterday we decided to take Skye down to Lagoon. We've been wanting to take her but haven't been able to get around to it. Both Regan and I already had people subbing our classes because we were planning on going to the cabin but then Regan ended up having to work. So we ditched church and went to Lagoon. We had so much fun watching Skye get so excited about all of the rides. She is FEARLESS! She would have gone on any ride there and loved it. I think she is going to be an adrenaline junky. I love how brave she is. It make this kind of stuff so fun.
