I just had to post these pictures. They crack me up. Regan finally found someone to watch the Office with. I hate that stupid show. Jordyn sure seemed to like it. She was in this position for a good 5 min. watching it. Look how small she looks next to the diaper caddy.

 

St. George

This weekend we went to St. George with my mom,my sister in law Jen and her kids. We had a great time. We went to the indoor pool that they have down there. It's Still a little chilly for outdoor swiming. We took the kids to parks and on a little hike. The kids had a blast. Skye wasn't working with me too good on the picture taking. I couldn't get her to look at me and smile for anything. I would tell her to look at me and she would turn her head to me but her eyes would be looking some where else. I did get a couple of her looking and smiling. A couple out of a 180 pictures. On the way home we stopped at Build A Bear. There used to be one down in St. George but it closed down. Jen promised her kids that they could do that because Matt was with them at Disney on Ice and wouldn't buy them anything there. I figured it was time for Skye to trade in Monkey. Monkey is Skye's security blanket. She has been attached to that thing since we made her at Build a Bear 2 years ago. She actually picked out a bunny this time that ended up matching her room perfect. She named her Tazby or Tazbee. I don't know how you would spell it. I have know clue where she came up with that name. It was fun little get away.

I am going through a black and white faze if you can't tell. I just noticed that the majority of my pictures are black and white.

SPRING FEVER

I'm so ready for spring! I'm sick of being inside all day long. I can tell Skye has the bug too. She constantly wants to play in the garage. She even asked me the other night if we could go to Walmart so she could ride in the cart. How sad is that? Hopefully we will be able to start on our yard soon. I want grass!!!

Ski Day

We took Skye skiing yesterday with Matt and Jen's family. WOW!! My kid has absolutely no motivation. This was her 2nd time and I had such high hopes, thinking that she would like it better in the day since her 1st time was at night. I started Corey at 2 1/2 and she did awesome. She has that competitive nature though. I think that helps alot. Skye could careless. She wathes everyone else and pays no attention to what she is doing. Then if she sees a chunck of snow that looks good she just falls over and starts eating away. When she would try she did good. Poor Regan after awhile of that he finally went and sat with her in the lodge and car. I was helping Matt with Cade until Jen and I got the brilliant idea to try to teach each other. She put on my skis and I put on her snowboard. I have to applaud anyone that can get off of a ski lift on a snowboard and not kill themselves. the 1st time I had to dodge a kid that fell so I blamed my crash on that. The 2nd time however, I don't know what happened except that I flipped back and smacked my head so hard that my hat and goggles flew 3ft. We decided that it wasn't too easy to teach another person when you are learning something new yourself. We had a good time though. It's fun to get out and spend the day with family.

Never Say Never

So I never thought I would be doing this. This is soooo not like me!! I'm not the facebook, blogging type but I love to read some of my friends and families blogs and decided that I need to do it. If anything, it will get me writting down some of the funny things Skye says. It also seems like a good way to escape and reflect on some of the things happening in your life. So here it goes. My grammer is awful and so is my spelling. I apologize in advance. I have no idea what I'm doing so my 1st couple of blogs might be a train wreck but I will catch on and maybe even get a little creative like some of you.

I'm still trying my hardest to get Skye to poop on the potty. She is doing great at peeing but the poo is a whole other story. She always goes in her room and closes the door when she poops. A couple of weeks ago I heard her door close but I was in the middle of feeding Jordyn, which in it's self is still a PAIN in the butt. So I had to let her have at it and would have to deal with it after. After I got done feeding the baby and taking care of my poor brutalized nipples. Yes she is almost 5 months old and I want to scream every time she latches on. The Dermatologist said they wont heel until I stop feeding and my milk is dried up. I keep telling myself, "get her to 6 months". Anyways, lets get back to the story of Skye pooping. So I went walking back to her room telling my self not to get mad at her, it wont help. I opened the door and there Skye stood with this precious little sad face and raised eyebrows and she said to me. " My poop fell out of my bum." I couldn't be mad after that cute little remark. In fact I couldn't help but laugh. So I gave her a big hug and kiss and for the first time I was smiling while taking poopy underwear off her butt. She cracks me up. She is so smart. She is always saying something funny. If any of you can remember something funny that she has said or did please remind me of it. I never write it down because I think I will never forget it but I always do. Now that I am doing this blog maybe I will be better.
