Skye's 1st Dance Competition

Skye had her 1st dance competition on Saturday. She did 2 dances. The 1st dance she did, she was too busy looking at us instead of her teachers. She still did good but the 2nd dance she did awesome. I love how outgoing she is. She isn't afraid at all to go out and dance in front of a big audience. In fact I think she likes it. I am so glad I put her in dance. I never thought in a million years that she would like it as much as she does. I tried to upload the video but I can't get it to work so pictures will have to do.

Sugar Bugs

Skye has 2 cavities and had the 1st one filled today. I was so proud of her she was a champ. She didn't feel the shot the 1st time but when he did it again she felt it. She just said ouch it hurts and then after that she did great. I love it when they give me laughy gas. They know how to get you floating. They crank it up at that office. I have a buzz for like 15 min. afterwards. I could tell that Skye was a little loopy she was acting a little off. It was pretty funny to watch her. It must not have been too traumatizing because she has no objection about going back next week for the other one.

Skiddy

This might be a little graphic but it's just too funny. I've got to write it down before I forget it. Today Skye pooped and she was trying to be independent and wipe all by herself. I didn't go in a double check because I haven't been feeling too great lately and wiping poop didn't appeal to me at the moment, so I just hoped that she did a good job. Later on she came walking out with a bare butt. I asked her where her pants were hoping that she didn't have an accident and pee her pants. She said to me, "There was a little bit of a skiddy in them." I couldn't stop laughing.

1st Cornrow

I was finally able to get a cornrow in Jordyn's hair for the 1st time today. Slowly but surely her hair is growing. Notice that in one of the pictures Jordyn is holding Monkey. I don't know what it is about this stuffed animal but now Jordyn loves it and Skye doesn't seem to mind about handing it down. I'm not sure if I want her to have it though. Part of me wants to put it up before it gets too worn out so that Skye will always have it. But, I also think it's cute to see Jordyn enjoy it like Skye did.

Jordyn + Markers = Mess

I think the terrible twos have came early to our house. Jordyn is into EVERYTHING!! I have told Skye, I don't know how many times that she is not allowed to take her markers off of the table. Being the good listener that she is lately, they found their way into her room and of coarse Jordyn found them and decided to use her body as a canvas.

When I took the binki out I was a little shocked to see all of the red around her mouth. I later found a red marker tip that had been bitten off.

That can't be comfortable

When I put Jordyn down for her nap today, she stayed up and played for a little while. When there was finally no noise coming from her monitor, I took a peek and found this...

She is so flexible that this is probably comfortable to her. It makes me hurt just to look at it.

While we were in Hawaii I got a few funny pictures of the guys. I've been debating whether to post them or not but I have decided that these are just too good not to share. Sheri took the one of Regan. I'm so glad she did. It completes the collection:) Oh, and although they might all look drunk everyone was completely sober. We just had a TON of fun together that's all.
