Skye's Dance Review

On Saturday Skye had her dance review. She is so much fun to watch!! I loved it not only because I was able to see her dance but because she had a cousin in almost every dance. All of them did so good!! Jordyn did good and sat in her seat and just watched for the first half but then she decided that she wanted to get up and try dancing. Good thing we were on the front row so she could just play on the floor.

Getting her trophy

I was wondering why her hair looked so red but then I noticed that all the girls had a red tint, so it must be the lighting

Skye's Pre-school Program

Skye had her pre-school program last Thursday. Her class sang us all of the songs that had learned through out the year. She loved pre-school and is sad that it's over. She became good friends with Ella Watterson (the daughter of one of my friends growing up) and Henley ??? Teacher Mark's daughter. She is also very fond of David. She calls him her boyfriend. Yes, it's already starting.
Once again I ran out the door because we were running late and forgot not only the camera but also the video camera. My phone did do a pretty decent job on the pictures this time. I haven't checked to see what the video looks like. Good thing I bought a phone because of the 8 mega-pixel camera. That thing has saved me a lot lately.

This is a scrapbook that the teachers put together of her during the year. It's very cute!

ST. George Again

Parks, swimming, shopping and eating = Another great time in St. George

Skye's Show Off Day

A couple of weeks ago Skye had her tumbling "Show Off Day" at pre-school. I felt bad because I had missed her swim "Show off day." the week before. Skye went down to St. George with my mom and dad and didn't get the note that they send home until it was too late. It was so fun to see her. I'm glad I made it to at least one of them.
The pictures are a little hard to see. My phone doesn't have a zoom on it. I thought it was a little ironic that I was the only mother there without a fancy camera. I didn't even think about a camera until I got there. Thank goodness for phones.

Easter 2011

We had a good Easter holiday. Toph an Britt came up, which always makes the holiday a little more fun. Easter morning Skye woke up bright and early and Jordyn was still sleeping so we got Skye in the tub and dressed for church. I didn't want her to go and see what the Easter Bunny brought without Jordyn. She finally woke up and out they went. Skye ran right to the swimming pool. She has not stopped asking to play in it since. Jordyn scoped out her basket with some hesitation at 1st but then dove right in. The Easter Bunny hid eggs around the house. Skye loved finding them...Jordyn could have cared less about the eggs. I thought for sure she would've liked finding eggs. I was dead wrong! We went to Grandma Ondy's for lunch and the older kids hid some eggs for the younger ones to find. Jordyn still wouldn't have anything to do with it. Then when we went to my parents house for dinner the kids went out to find the eggs that Papa always hides. Jordyn loved the basket that she got to carry around. Regan tried to help her find eggs but she just wanted to carry around the basket instead. Skye loved every minute of it.

Future Shopper

A few weeks ago We went to Walmart. We stopped by the toys 1st to get a present for Cade and Jordyn spotted a toy shopping cart. She would not leave it behind so I figured she could push it around the store while I finished getting groceries. It was so funny! She fallowed right behind me the whole time. Every once in awhile she would put something random in her cart. I was looking for some new Binky's because we go through them like nobodies business. When I looked over and seen that she had put a giraffe stuffed animal in the baby seat I cracked up laughing. She put it in the cart perfectly, just like a baby. Everyone was having a fit over her. She was getting a ton of attention. I'm sure the squeaky shoes didn't help with that. It's so fun to watch her do such big girl things because she is so small you don't expect it.
